The Eastside Youth Athletic Association (EYAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the State of Minnesota. Our organization operates the Eastside Blaze, a youth tackle football program and plays in the Capitol City League of the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department. Financial support for EYAA comes from participant fees, charitable gifts and corporate donations. The current Board of Directors is staffed by a mix of public and private sector individuals, who serve as unpaid volunteers and bring a wealth of experience in coaching, administration and business operations. The Board is focused on four key areas to strengthen and grow the Association:
- Funding: Develop a sustainable and diversified financial base to fund EYAA activities for long-term growth and expansion.
- Membership: Expand program services and increase EYAA membership.
- Marketing: Enhance the EYAA brand through an increase in our reach and frequency of messaging, and communicate key issues on a consistent basis to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Create a structure that develops long-term EYAA leadership for youth mentoring, coaching and organizational management.
